On September 11, 2001, American soil was brutally penetrated and destructed by the terrorist group al-Qaeda. The group hijacked four commercial airplanes. Two of the planes crashed into and destroyed both World Trade Towers located in New York City. A third plane hit the Pentagon, near Washington, D.C. The forth and final plane crashed near the town of Shanksville in Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 people died from this attack.

As I said before, retina scans and other biometrics would confirm the identity of passengers and make it less likely that a hijiker could take over the plane. It would be very expensive, however, and might even continue to slow down airport security. I also think something should be done to absolutely ensure that a passenger gets on the plane where his/her luggage is. That is an area of security that hasnt been fully addressed.
Why do you feel airport security would be helped if a passenger had to board the plane by baggage claim? What would be an effective, yet safe way to speed up the process of going through airport security?
